Founded in 1965, Thomas Piano Service got its start as a local, family-owned and operated Piano Services Business.

Years later, we opened our Piano Store in the Montgomery, Alabama River Region on the Troy Hwy (US-231) near Pike Road, Alabama.

We typically have a nice selection of Used Pianos for Sale, including pre-owned Grand Pianos and Upright Pianos.

Our Pianos are personally selected, and reconditioned in our Piano Workshop Studio, by Joey Thomas. Joey is considered one of the finest Piano Restoration Specialists in Alabama.

He trained under his father, Reynolds Thomas, a Piano Technician with over 50 years experience in the Montgomery River Region.

Servicing a wide customer base throughout Central and South Alabama, Joey’s piano sales position plays second fiddle to his primary role as a Piano Refurbisher.

Pianos have been at the center of Joey’s life since he was a child. When he’s not rebuilding, he’s likely doing related reading or research, or experimenting with new Piano technologies and techniques – always looking to improve his craft.

As a local artisan with an appreciation for pianos as both musical instrument and fine furniture, Joey’s piano restorations speak for themselves and serve as his best sales tool.
